Dave Crawford's love affair with the banjo goes back to his school days in Nottingham, where he played banjo in a jug band. He continued performing in the Wolverhampton area as part of a folk duo. Dave is also an award-winning guitar teacher.
Keep Off the Bluegrass, Dave’s premier collection of minstrel to modern banjo tunes, includes two original compositions. On this CD, Dave plays stroke-style on a modern Romero 5-string banjo, using Chris Sands heavy-duty nylon strings.
